Ron Paul is against the death penalty

I support the death penalty.

So we disagree, right?

Well, maybe not. Paul is against the death penalty because too many mistakes have been made. If you are rich, you get away with it. If you’re poor, you’re more likely to face the death penalty.

Thus, although Paul was originally supportive of the death penalty, he now opposes it.

I agree with him.

We like the death penalty in principle. It is the right thing to do. But today’s judicial system cannot handle it. Too many mistakes are made, and too many rich people get off easy with their amazing lawyers and tricks.

So Ron Paul’s stance on the death penalty? OK by me.
